The objective of the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict is to intensify academic research and instruction in the fields of armed conflict and ensuring peace. It offers the Joint European Master's in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA), which is an inter-university, multidisciplinary postgraduate programme that provides high quality academic education and professional competencies for personnel working or intending to work in the area of humanitarian action.
NOHA is an international association of universities which aims to enhance professionalism in the humanitarian sector by promoting humanitarian values and providing certificated high level courses (Erasmus Mundus Master in Humanitarian Action) as well as refresher courses, and by promoting research and policy papers on key humanitarian issues.
