Wilhelm Hensen

Wilhelm Hensen has worked in the Disaster Management Department of the German Red Cross since 2008. He is the coordinator for the ‘Health' Emergency Response Units (ERU) including a referral hospital and a basic healthcare unit. Graduating in Hygiene Promotion in Emergencies, he obtained a diploma of life sciences from the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg. He has worked with the German Red Cross since 2005, and has coordinated or taken part in ERU missions in Pakistan, China, Haiti and Zimbabwe.
