Waltraud Wernhart

Waltraud is working at the Medical Mission Institute, Würzburg as Laboratory Consultant since March 2009. There she is dealing with lab oriented requests from Missionary Hospitals, projects or NGO's working in resource limited settings, preparing and holding training courses for malaria, parasitology and appropriate technologies.
Before that, she joined Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2004 and gained her experience in the humanitarian field in laboratories.
With MSF, she worked with the French section in Ethiopia and Chad, with MSF Holland in Central African Republic and Somalia and with MSF Swiss in Kyrgysztan in Central Asia - in a tuberculoses project in prisons as lab tech and project coordinator.
