Sid Peruvemba

Sid Peruvemba (43) is Programme Director of Malteser International in Germany where he, among other, is responsible for strategy, policy and quality initiatives. He holds a Master in Economics, has been involved in humanitarian aid since 1988, and has long and varied field experience from India, Vietnam, Central and Eastern Europe. From 1999 till 2005, he worked as Senior Coordinator and then as Director for Emergency relief, in the Foreign Aid Department of Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V.
Sid Peruvemba is an active member of the Humanitarian Aid Working Group, of the German NGO platform VENRO, and the Humanitarian Coordination Committee.
Since May 2009, he has been a member of the Board of VOICE, a network representing 85 European NGOs active in humanitarian aid worldwide.
