Sean Healy

Sean Healy is a humanitarian affairs advisor on MSF's desk in Berlin, responsible for managing programmes in Central Asia and Central and Southern Africa. He provides advice on humanitarian positioning, strategy and advocacy, as well as expertise on specific subjects including the protection of civilians in conflict. Previously, he worked for MSF in the field as a project coordinator and head of mission in Burundi, Kashmir, Balochistan and Laos. He has also worked for the Red Cross, coordinating programmes in Tibet. Prior to his career in humanitarianism, he worked as a journalist. He holds a master's degree in International Political Economy from the University of Sydney.
