Rony Brauman
Rony Brauman is a medical doctor, specialized in tropical medicine and epidemiology. He has been involved in humanitarian action since 1977 and was on numerous missions, mainly in contexts of armed conflics and IDP (Internally displaced persons) situations. Rony was president of Médecins Sans Frontières from 1982 to 1994. He also teaches at the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris and is a regular contributor to the quarterly journal Alternatives Internationales.
