Ricardo Angora

Ricardo Angora has been member of Médecins du Monde (MDM) Spain since 1993. He has taken part in a number of humanitarian aid interventions with Médecins du Monde (MDM) Spain in different settings: he was in Bosnia during the conflict between 1994-1996; in Afghanistan during the conflict in 1998; in Peru after the earthquake that took place in 2000 and he was in Iraq during the 2003 conflict. Additionally, he was in Bam, Indonesia following the 2004 earthquake, active in the aftermath of the Far East Tsunami disaster of 2005 and has been on site during the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in 2007-2009.
Mr. Angora has been attending the MDM Spain Humanitarian Aid Group since 2005 and has been part of the board of the Spanish NGOs Platform (CONGDE) from 2004 till 2009.
Ricardo Angora has been part of the board of Médecins du Monde (MDM) Spain from 1995 till 2004 and has been its President from 2005 until 2009.
