Naemi Heita
Naemi Heita is the deputy general secretary and programmes manager of the Namibia Red Cross. She qualified in general nursing and midwifery science, plus healthcare management with a strong focus on project planning, designing, monitoring and evaluation. She has 12 years' experience in the implementation and management of various health programmes including HIV (the prevention of mother-to-child transmission), home-based care, reproductive health for young people and adults, as well disaster management programmes.
