Michael Lindenbauer
Dr Michael Lindenbauer has been UNHCR Representative for Austria and Germany, based in Berlin, since 2009. He joined the UNHCR in 1984 in Vienna and has been assigned to a number of UNHCR country operations around the world, including Hong Kong, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Sudan. This is his second assignment in Germany, where he first worked from 1989 to 1993 at the UNHCR Representation in Bonn. Dr Lindenbauer was born in 1958 and is married with two children.
