Marita Wiggerthale
Marita Wiggerthale works for Oxfam Germany. Her expertise lies in the field of food security and global agricultural issues. She deals with food price volatility, food speculation, biofuels, landgrabbing and related access to land and water issues, investment in smallholder agriculture and agroecological practices and global trade issues. After receiving her masters in Politics, Economics and Pedagogy she worked as the Secretary General of the International Catholic Youth Movement in Brussels, followed by a two-year engagement with Germanwatch in the field of WTO and global trade issues.
