Doris Schopper

Dr. PH, Dr. med. Doris Schopper is an Expert in the development and evaluation of health policies and programming. She was President of Médecins Sans Frontières, Switzerland, from 1992 until 1998, and held the position of International President of MSF twice.
Not only does Doris Schopper have longstanding field experience with MSF, but she has also worked with the World Health Organisation, particularly in the area of HIV/Aids.
In Switzerland, Doris Schopper has devised health strategies for the Kanton of Geneva, as well as developed the National Cancer Programm.
Since 2001, she has been directing the Ethics Review Board of MSF and is an Expert on ethical issues concerning the organisation, especially in the field of medical ethics.
