Dagmar Dehmer

Dagmar Dehmer was born on 20th July 1965 in Southern Germany (Schwenningen).
After her University studies in History, German language and literature, from 1994 till 2001, she worked for the Badische Zeitung, a daily newspaper based in Freiburg, Germany.
In 2001, she moved to Berlin and since then has been working for the Editorial Office for Politics of the Tagesspiegel. Since the early 1990ies, Dagmar Dehmer has focused on environmental topics in her writings, especially on climate change.
Additionally, since 2004, her publications have also covered issues concerning the African continent. In 2004, she married and she's now the mother of two sons, 3 and 4 years old.
