Christiane Haas
Dr Christiane Haas is a medical doctor with a specialisation in internal medicine and infectious diseases and holds a Masters Degree in International Health from the University of Basel, Switzerland.
After 10 years of clinical experience in hospitals, she decided to shift her career towards public health related issues in an international context. After having worked for a French NGO in Myanmar for nine months, she joined the German Red Cross in April 2006 as a health advisor. In this technical advisory function she has performed various short-term missions to different countries and provided input to emergency as well as development projects and programmes.
