Christine Rebstock is a Paediatric-, General Nurse and Midwife. She worked for over 6 years in various projects with Medair in South Sudan, Somalia and Angola. Her main responsibilities were starting Basic Health Care Units and mother child health posts while training local health workers in all theoretical as well as practical health aspects.
In addition she trained traditional birth attendants and midwives.
As a Mother-Child Health Coordinator in Angola she was supporting a maternity hospital by monitoring the situation and providing the necessary training and equipment.
Currently, she is working in the delivery unit at the University Hospital in Tübingen and will finalise her part time studies with a Master in Intercultural studies next year.
